Rajasthan tourist police find a lost boy at Amer

Ahmed Nadeemuddin, who had come from Hyderabad to visit Jaipur, lost his son in the crowd while touring Amer, according to DIPR. When the information reached them, women personnel of the tourist police searched quickly for the child and reunited him safely with his father. An emotional Nadeemuddin thanked the police team repeatedly and said the police had given very good service and that he was very happy, DIPR said. Amer is one of Jaipur’s busiest tourist sites, and crowds there can make it easy for children to get separated from their families. DIPR said the force is deployed to keep domestic and foreign tourists safe and to help them, and DIPR praised its consistently excellent work, and it described the team’s work as an example of both law and order and human sensitivity.

Tourist police constable Reetu and her team helped them in every possible way, arranging the contacts and train tickets they needed to continue their journey and looking after their safety. The tourists said that because they were from outside, they did not know the local area, and the tourist police team’s support was very helpful to them. DIPR did not give the dates of the Amer and train cases in its release. In both cases the tourists later recorded video messages thanking the force, according to DIPR.
