What to see at Amalthea 2026

The theme reflects the idea of bringing together different aspects of technology, innovation and interdisciplinary problem-solving through exhibitions, expert discussions, competitions, hackathons and live entertainment, according to PIB Ahmedabad. The Tech Expo, one of the event’s flagship attractions, will feature innovations from start-ups, research laboratories and technology organisations, including the Institute for Plasma Research, IIT Gandhinagar’s Robotics Lab, Kapidhwaj AI, HP and ATSN AI. A Military Expo will showcase drones and other defence technologies, and an Auto Expo will display vintage cars, classic automobiles and modern vehicles such as a Land Rover, Morris Minor, Ford Roadster, Ford Mustang and BMW M2. An Open Day on 31 October will let students, researchers and start-ups present work in areas from robotics and AI to renewable energy, maritime engineering, smart chemical sensing and power electronics.
