Rajasthan recruitment: where the numbers stand

The appointments were made through 11 rozgar melas and various recruitment processes, the meeting was told. Recruitment for about 1.10 lakh more posts is in process at various stages, and appointments to 45,645 of these are likely in the coming period. Mr Srinivas said the state government is committed to giving young people the maximum job opportunities and is working with a resolve to make 4 lakh recruitments in five years. He asked departments to quickly update information on appointments to be given at the next rozgar mela, to coordinate closely with the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, and to argue pending court cases strongly. For next year’s recruitment exam calendar, he told all departments to count vacant posts and send requisitions quickly.

Rajasthan Sampark complaints and drought preparation

More than 54.9 lakh e-files have been created on the Rajkaj portal, and an online APAR module and AI-based smart chat support have started on Rajkaj version 2.0. Replies have been sent for 98.61% (1,982) of 2,010 pending Assembly-related letters. On the Rajasthan Sampark portal, 99.56% (65.63 lakh) of 65.92 lakh complaints filed from March to October 2026 were disposed of, with average disposal time down to 12 days. For possible drought-hit districts, the Chief Secretary asked in-charge secretaries to visit and assess conditions, and told the Public Health Engineering Department to prepare contingency plans for drinking water, set up fodder depots where needed and ensure water in gaushalas. He also asked departments to clear e-files and pending mail as per the set procedure. Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and senior officers of various departments attended. DIPR issued the release in Hindi; this report is a translation.

Why It Matters: For job seekers, the numbers indicate how many government posts are close to appointment, and the order for an early exam calendar could help candidates plan their preparation.
